Anissa Douglass is the founder and creative director of Anissa Studio, a Washington, DC studio offering creative consulting and animation for educators and organizations.
Anissa brings 15 years of experience in writing, directing, creative direction and strategic communications across media, technology, government and public-facing work. Her experience includes work with LinkedIn (a Microsoft company), as well as animated campaigns, large-scale events and original creative concepts.
Her selected work includes writing and directing A Tale of Two Travelers, an animated DOT campaign, and developing the creative concept for a high school sports awards show’s 25th anniversary, including its outer-space theme, voice casting and direction, clip selection, animation and graphics direction, and final edit.
At LinkedIn, Anissa provided creative direction for the company’s first hybrid global Sales Kickoff for 3,000 attendees. She also identified and championed the story of a former waiter who used LinkedIn to eventually become an ESPN anchor.
Anissa holds a BA in Psychology from Spelman College and an MFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
